e2917226cb Revert "Move to an upstream snapshot, rebase patches" 
This reverts commit 85e785c922.

That commit breaks the build with
> configure: error: libsystemd autoconfigured, but system does not appear to use systemd
when running ./autogen.sh, which implicitly runs ./configure.
