The option "-i" to "%forgemeta" causes debugging information to be output. This confuses scripts that use rpmspec et al. to query information about a spec file. Therefore, the spec templates in the packaging guidelines note that the "-i" and "-v" options to "%forgemeta" should be removed before committing (cf. https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/packaging-guidelines/SourceURL/#_using_forges_hosted_revision_control). |
