We can flip it on at runtime if we need to, and this should help a
performance hit people have been seeing for a while now.  We'll enable
it manually for merge window kernels.

Steve Dickson cf9dc03e67 Stop compiling the NFS v2 kernel module 
The following patch disables the NFS v2 kernel module
from being compiled with which in turn disable
the NFS v2 support in Fedora 20 kernel.

Peter Robinson 09ffc5546c Minor kernel configs cleanup merging duplicated config opts into generic 
Merge config changes from the various arch configs into generic-config where there's overlapping identical configs across all architectures. If there's a single arch that is difference to the rest of the architectures that option remains in the arch specific config as it takes precedence over the generic config.

So apparently we've been enabling CONFIG_NAMESPACES in Fedora kernels for
a very long time even though it was never explicitly set.  The kconfig entry
for it looks like it should depend on CONFIG_EXPERT (which isn't set), but
either the fact that we've had CONFIG_NET_NS, etc enabled explicitly or the
fact that it defaults to !EXPERT seems to do something weird with menuconfig
and enables it in the final config.  Whatever, just turn it back on.  It
seems to break rtkit-daemon for some reason.

Jeff Layton 6681651872 Kconfig: enable CONFIG_CIFS_SMB2 
Enough of the CIFS SMB2 code has been merged into 3.7 that users can
now mount SMB2.1 shares from servers that support it. It's still fairly
experimental, but enabling the Kconfig option is unlikely to break
users who are using SMB1.

Let's go ahead and enable this in 3.7 kernels. I think this patch
should be sufficient, but let me know if we should do anything else.

We've had CONFIG_IDE disabled for a long time on everything except ppc.
Remove all of the options that depend on it from config-generic and add
whatever is left over to the powerpc config file

Josh Boyer 1f83f3a235 Drop CONFIG_USER_NS 
Upstream e1c972b681bf118fcedb9fe2ed7a73de983aa5ef makes it depend on
UIDGID_CONVERTED which is only set when all of the subsystems have been
converted to be user namespace safe.  That defaults to Y whenever it happens,
so we'll set this after that point.

Mauro Carvalho Chehab 75b5e4d6a9 Don't customise tuners or frontends 
The option to customise tuners/frontends are there to allow
embedded systems or advanced users that compile their own
kernels to disable I2C modules that aren't used by their
specific device. When those options are not selected, the
building system will automatically select the modules that
are needed by each DVB device.

The end result is that dummy frontends used only for testing,
like DVB_DUMMY_FE won't be selected.

Also, when newer frontends are added (and they're added all
the times), the new ones will automatically be selected, if
the bridge drivers that support them are selected.

This also makes the configuration simpler to understand.
