Sam Ravnborg	86feeaa812	kbuild: full dependency check on asm-offsets.h ... Building asm-offsets.h has been moved to a seperate Kbuild file located in the top-level directory. This allow us to share the functionality across the architectures. The old rules in architecture specific Makefiles will die in subsequent patches. Furhtermore the usual kbuild dependency tracking is now used when deciding to rebuild asm-offsets.s. So we no longer risk to fail a rebuild caused by asm-offsets.c dependencies being touched. Linus Torvalds	1da177e4c3	Linux-2.6.12-rc2 ... Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it.
